Sakura Cafe

Sakura Cafe is located at 163-169 Jalan Imbi 55100 Kuala Lumpur. I heard the Sakura Cafe is famous with it's house nasi lemak (steamed rice cood in coconut milk). Passed by this cafe many times but never got chance to try it out. Finally, husband and I visited the Sakura Cafe on last Tuesday.

Black Jerry Ice (Left) - RM4.00; Korean Citron Tea (Right) - RM8.00
Woo......Never thought the common drinks can charged so expensive! Almost triple price charged of other restaurants.

Nasi Lemak - RM14.80 per pax. Steamed coconut milk rice served with chicken curry, ikan bilis (fried Anchovies), prawn sambal, achar, hard boiled eggs and cucumber.

Nasi Bojari - RM23.00 per pax. Indonesia colored tasty rice with asam prawn, beef rendang and fried chicken drumstick.

Desert - Cendol with coconut sugar. It's a complementary of Nasi Bojari.

Overall, I would like to say this restaurant is just for non-Malaysian tourist because we can get the same but taste nicer food with cheaper price at the food court in shopping mall.

Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh @ Old Klang Road

Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh at No. 32, Batu 4 1/2, Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur. It famous with the steamed fish head and not the Bak Kut Teh. Funny right?

Many customer during the dinner times. Do not worry about the car park. The workers will search a strategic place for your car.

Bak Kut Teh - RM9.00 , for 1 pax. We ordered the smallest portion, just want to try the food taste. Because we heard the Bak Kut Teh is OK only. And we proved it's really OK only. Mm....not to say tasteless, just not that strong like others.

For your information, Bak Kut Teh is Pork Ribs Tea (literally translated). The specialty of Bak Kut Teh is the soup. It made from pork ribs which is simmered in a collection of Chinese herbs for several hours.

Vegetables - RM7.00 (Medium). For sure, we will ordered a plate of vegetables.

Steamed fish head with minced ginger - RM25.00 (Medium), for 3 - 4 pax. There are variety choices of cooking style. We order the fish steamed with minced ginger. The fish is very fresh! Soft! Delicious! Very yummy! Drolling~~ when talk about it again. No wonder so many people recommend about the steamed fish head here. OMG! feel hungry now :p

狐狸精?Baby Face?

Went to FotoPrime in Cheras and saw this pub - Baby Face, at the next shop lots. I guess it only open at night /o_o\. Feel funny with it's Chinese signboard, 狐狸精. It's used to scold those women whom seduce other's husband.

Mm.....I don't think women like their husband visit this shop :p

Tenji2 @ Puchong

Went to Tenji2 at Puchong. This is a Japanese Buffet Restaurant. The first Tenji is located at Mont Kiara. Due to new opening, we only pay RM50 per pax with voucher bought in advanced.

Not much food served compared to the HQ at Mont Kiara.

Madam Chong's Prawn Noodles House

Honey Green Tea (C - RM3.50; H - RM2.50)

Specialty Prawn Noodle (S-RM9.90; B-RM10.90)
There are four Big Prawn served. Freshness is acceptable. Mm....soup is a bit salty.

For your information, prawn noodle soup is very important in this food. It's cooked with fried prawn head and shell. Spread some fried onion will improve the tastier of soup.

Dried Noodle (S-RM5.50; B-RM6.50)
Simple enough. Noodle cooked and mixed with dark soy sauce.

Madam Chong's Prawn Noodles House is located at 22, Dinasti Sentral, Jln Kuchai Maju 19, Off Jalan Kuchai, 52200 Kuala Lumpur. Overall of the food is considered moderate. Price charged is a bit high. Luckily, there is no service tax charged. Will not recommend to friend.

Sushi Tomo @ SS2 PJ

This Sushi Tomo is a Japanese Restaurant with air-cond and located at 8, Jalan SS2/67, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Environment is good and comfortable. Once you enter the restaurant, waiters will greet you friendly :)

Green Tea RM1.50
I realized that different restaurant served with different cup.

Okonomi Yaki RM 12.90 per portion.
Restaurant menu is in Japanese language. I can't read Japanese just simply order this Okonomi Yake (Side Order) because it marked as famous food. Is a Japanese Pizza (vegetable and minced meat). How's the food taste?? Well, I still prefer Korean Pizza :p

Nabe Yaki Udon RM18.50 per portion.
It also marked as Famous Food. Ordered by cousin. The soup is quite tasty but Udon (noodle) is overcooked. Felt being cheated by the food illustrations in menu. Not worth for the price charged.

Tempura Udon RM 18.50 per portion.
Same thing. The Udon is overcooked. Soup is tasty. Tempura - fried vege and prawn with special paste. Not really like it because it fried with thick paste :( and the freshness of prawn is just acceptable.
